Safe Travel Begins with Proper Coordination

Whether travelling to the airport, attending a business meeting, visiting a medical facility, or arriving at a hotel or private residence, clients should be able to travel with confidence, knowing that every aspect of their journey has been carefully coordinated.

In the UAE, passenger transportation is supported by a robust regulatory framework that prioritizes road safety, licensed drivers, roadworthy vehicles, and responsible driving practices. Federal Decree-Law No. (14) of 2024 on Traffic Regulation, which came into effect on 29 March 2025, reinforces these standards by establishing clear legal obligations for drivers, vehicle operators, and road users alike.

For clients, this means that transportation should never be viewed as a simple transfer from one destination to another. It is an important part of the overall service experience, contributing to personal safety, privacy, comfort, and peace of mind.

Before You Travel

Before entering any vehicle, clients should ensure that their transportation has been arranged through a recognized and appropriately authorized provider.

Prior to the journey, clients should receive:

  • Driver’s name and contact details
  • Vehicle make and model
  • Vehicle registration number
  • Estimated arrival time

Where possible, the arriving vehicle should match the information provided before commencing the journey.

To help ensure a safe and comfortable experience, clients are encouraged to:

  • Wear a seatbelt throughout the journey, regardless of where they are seated.
  • Inform the transportation provider in advance of any accessibility, mobility, child-seat, medical, or luggage requirements.
  • Avoid entering an unfamiliar vehicle unless the change has been formally communicated and confirmed.
  • Notify the provider promptly of any changes to the pickup location, destination, or travel schedule.
  • Avoid distracting the driver or requesting unsafe stopping locations.
  • Keep passports, identification documents, valuables, and electronic devices secure throughout the journey.
  • Check the vehicle carefully before leaving to ensure that no personal belongings have been forgotten.
  • Report any unsafe driving, inappropriate conduct, unexpected route deviations, or other concerns immediately.

The UAE also requires passengers to wear seatbelts and encourages additional protective measures for children and other vulnerable passengers as part of its wider road safety framework.

How Dawia Supports Your Journey

At Dawia Family Office, transportation forms part of the broader client experience.

Our role extends beyond arranging a vehicle. We coordinate every journey with professionalism and discretion, helping ensure that clients experience a seamless transition between destinations while maintaining high standards of comfort, safety, and service.

When coordinating transportation, Dawia assists by:

  • Working with suitable and appropriately authorized transportation providers.
  • Confirming pickup locations, destinations, schedules, and client preferences in advance.
  • Sharing verified driver and vehicle information before arrival.
  • Coordinating vehicles appropriate for passenger numbers, luggage requirements, accessibility needs, and the nature of the journey.
  • Monitoring delays, driver substitutions, and operational changes where possible.
  • Maintaining clear communication between the client and the transportation provider.
  • Ensuring special travel requirements are communicated before the journey begins.
  • Escalating service quality or safety concerns with the transportation provider where necessary.
  • Assisting clients in the event of missed pickups, vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or other transportation-related disruptions.
  • Treating all itineraries, destinations, and personal information with the highest level of confidentiality.

Where children are travelling, Dawia can coordinate discussions with the transportation provider regarding appropriate child restraint arrangements before the journey.

For elderly clients and Persons of Determination, we can also help coordinate suitable accessibility requirements and additional assistance to promote a safe and comfortable travel experience.

Standards We Expect From Transportation Providers

To help deliver a consistently professional client experience, Dawia expects transportation providers engaged on behalf of our clients to:

  • Ensure functioning seatbelts are available for every passenger.
  • Maintain safe driving practices and avoid speeding, reckless driving, or mobile phone use while driving.
  • Demonstrate professional conduct while respecting client privacy and confidentiality.
  • Follow the agreed route unless alternative routing is required due to safety considerations, traffic conditions, or client instructions.

A Coordinated Journey, Delivered with Confidence

At Dawia Family Office, we recognize that every client interaction contributes to the overall quality of the experience we deliver.

By carefully coordinating transportation arrangements, verifying key travel details, and maintaining clear communication throughout the journey, we provide an additional layer of support that allows clients to travel with greater confidence and reassurance.

While Dawia oversees the coordination of the client journey, responsibility for driver licensing, vehicle registration, insurance, operational safety, and compliance with applicable UAE transport regulations remains with the appointed transportation provider.

Our role is to ensure that every journey reflects the professionalism, discretion, and high service standards our clients expect.
